What we collect
When you submit the form: your email address and the one sentence describing your idea. Alongside them we store the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and which headline variant you saw.
For analytics we record page views and clicks. These carry no name, no email and no account identifier: each visit gets a random id that exists only in your browser's memory and is gone when you close the tab.
Cookies
None. This site sets no cookies, writes nothing to local storage and loads no third-party trackers, which is why you were not asked to accept anything.
Why we use it
To send you your validation report and to contact you about it. Analytics tell us which videos bring people here so we can stop making the ones that do not.
Who processes it
- · Brevo (EU) — stores your email and idea so we can write back.
- · PostHog (EU region) — anonymous usage analytics.
- · Cloudflare — serves this page.
Your data stays in the EU. We do not sell it and we do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after our last contact, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it erased. Email support@getbeforecode.app and we will act within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
